Sexual Health

Your sexual health is an important part of your overall health and wellbeing. 

Clients can access birth control and pregnancy counselling, as well as referrals for additional services, and free confidential testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

No OHIP required. No catchment area for services.

Services include:

- birth control counselling
- low-cost birth control
- free condoms
- emergency contraceptive pills
- sexually transmitted infection and testing
- HIV Testing
- pregnancy testing, counselling & referrals

After hours, primary care clients, registered at Black Creek CHC, can call 416-249-8000 to connect with a care provider for immediate medical concerns.

  • Wednesdays: 2 PM – 4 PM (Last client seen at 3:30 PM)

  • Are you interested in birth control but can’t remember to take pills every day?
  • Are you looking for a non-hormonal option for birth control?
  • Do you suffer from painful or heavy periods?

 

 

An IUD (intrauterine device) may be right for you! Black Creek Community Health Centre is now offering an IUD Clinic to the community for counselling, insertion, checks and removals. 

Copper IUDs available at Black Creek Community Health Centre for $60 or by prescription

Hormonal IUDs available by prescription (covered under ODB and most private insurance plans)


Appointments available Fridays 2 PM – 4 PM
